Mr. Katz has been a member in good standing of The Florida Bar since 1995. He received his Juris Doctor (J.D) degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Law where he was selected to the Deans Advisory Council and received the Shepard Broad Law Center Moot Court Competition Best Brief Award. Mr. Katz received his Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Business Administration.
Since becoming a member of The Florida Bar, Mr. Katz has gained extensive litigation and jury trial experience, having tried over 70 jury trials and over 100 bench trials. Prior to focusing on civil litigation, Mr. Katz was an Assistant State Attorney at the Broward Country State Attorney Office.
Mr. Katz is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court in and for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Katz has given presentation to attorneys and adjusters regarding personal injury protection laws. Mr. Katz is fluent in Spanish and prides himself with helping a diverse group of people in his time practicing law.
