Louis Katz has been a member in good standing of The Florida Bar since 1994. He received his juris Doctor (J.D) degree from the New England School of Law where he was selected to the Dean’s List in 1992 and 1993. In addition, he earned a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A) from Nova University where he was selected to the National Dean’s List, and received the Freidt School of Business and Entrepreneurship Special Recognition Award for Distinguished Academic Achievement in the Masters Degree program. Mr. Katz earned his Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree at the University of Miami.
Since becoming a member of The Florida Bar, Mr. Katz has practiced in the general area of insurance litigation with an emphasis on workers' compensation. His representation of injured workers and fully insured clients has given him a thorough understanding of the interests of all parties allowing him to provide his clients with the best possible representation in a cost effective and time efficient manner.
Mr. Katz lectures frequently on matters involving workers' compensation laws and is an active member of the Workers' Compensation Section of The Florida Bar.
Louis has been a practicing attorney for over 29 years which has given him a wealth of experience and thorough understanding of the law. Louis is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator and is fluent in Spanish.
