Louis Katz has been a member in good standing of The Florida Bar since 1994. He received his juris Doctor (J.D) degree from the New England School of Law where he was selected to the deans list in 1992 and 1993. In addition he earned a masters of business Administration (M.B.A) from Nova University. He was selection to the National Deans list, and received the Freidt School of Business and Entrepreneurship Special Recognition Award for distinguished academic achievement in the Masters Degree program. Mr. Katz earned his Bachelor of arts (B.A) degree at the university of Miami.
Since becoming a member of The Florida Bar, Mr., Katz has practiced in the general area of insurance defense with an emphasis on worker's compensation. His representation of fully insured clients as well as large amounts of self-insured clients has given him a thorough understanding of the interests of both insurance companies and employers.
Mr. Katz lectures frequently regarding the workers' compensation laws to adjusters and employers and is an active member of the Workers' Compensation Section of The Florida Bar, the Broward County Bar Association, and the Association of Florida Defense Lawyers.
